This policy details how and when refunds are processed by The Ranthambore Tiger. We believe in total financial transparency. Please note that we operate as a private travel agency and booking facilitator, not the official government portal.
Zero Refund Policy: Because safari permits are strictly non-cancellable once issued by the Forest Department, no refunds will be provided for canceled safari drives, missed safaris (no-shows), or late arrivals.
Agency Fees: The service and convenience fees charged by our agency for assisting in securing your booking are entirely non-refundable.
If you cancel a hotel or custom tour package according to the timelines specified in our Cancellation Policy, the eligible refund amount (after deducting applicable cancellation fees and non-refundable safari costs) will be calculated.
Once the calculation is confirmed with you, the refund process will be initiated.
Unforeseen Closures: Occasionally, the Forest Department may cancel scheduled safaris without prior warning due to severe weather conditions, VIP movements, or safety protocols.
Government Initiated Refunds: If the Forest Department processes a refund for an administratively canceled safari, we will remit that exact government-refunded amount back to you. However, our private agency’s service/convenience fee will be retained as the administrative work was already fulfilled.
All approved refunds will be credited back exclusively to the original method of payment (e.g., Bank Account, Credit Card, or UPI) used during the booking.
Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.
We do not issue cash refunds under any circumstances.
